It is too tedious to ask one character to leave party to ask another to join if you want to swap equipment. In Dragon Age: Origins you could swap gear between all characters at camp. Please, don't make this game tedious to feel "realistic".

I don't even think it's a realism thing, I think it's a too early in early access thing. But yeah, at camp we should have access to all all party managers inventories/character sheets.

+1. Asked Lae'Zel to join to take her armor, told her to leave, and she became bugged out and uninteractable afterwards....Very tedious and annoying.

Would be an awesome feature, which is already fully in game.

If you change party composition, you can then transfer scrolls, potions, gear, etc.

Yeah, the UI could (should) be better to manage a larger group.
The real issue here is that "managing a larger group" doesn't really seem to be in Larian's plans.

In general, especially IF (and that's a BIG IF) Larian goes back to its questionable decision "You'll have to commit to three companions and say goodbye to everyone else else after the first act", the camp/central hub should be the place where a player goes to quickly sort inventory for everyone, pick a different formation for a different questline/ combat encounter, etc.

Party control in Baldur's Gate 3 is a complete mess that begs to be addressed. SAY NO TO THE TOILET CHAIN
