Background: I own BG1, BG2, NWN, and DOS2. And enjoy them ALL, and this as well. Don't get me wrong this is a GREAT game. And look forward to everything that Larian brings to the table. Huge Fan.
I created a Drow fighter... Drizzt would be ashamed. Zaknafien would be proud. I have not played with other PCs, COOP I mean.
Melee all the way. Casters are Gimp... I feel that spells miss too much and do not do enough damage. I would not recommend a Caster now as a MAIN toon. I feel that the Caster/Melee is unbalanced.
I don't know what else I need to complete. I have saved Halsin, cleared all of the goblins in both areas, kill the Queen, and chased off the Tea shop owner. I have found the area map within the goblin area.
First off, if your an evil race, it helps with engagements. You'll get less automatic engagements with an evil race.
Barrels are your friend. Collect ALL barrels/grease .. water, fine wine, oil, etc.
The terrain is your friend. Use corners, hallways, and rooms to your advantage. Take the high ground!!
Mindflayer area has a lot of great AoE throwable items.
I don't know what else I can clear or destroy.
I have only made one combine, and that was to get into the druid subfloors.
I think that creating a larger evil race fighter will be more beneficial.
Yo, those druids are OP.
The engagements are BS.. misses on OUR end is more than likely to fail, the NPCs seem unbalanced. I will say that being under level doesn't help, but still mobs are OP'd.
I think I'm going to make a Ranger next.
I look forward to building a Vengenace Pally one day. Also, I hope that Larian creates DnD 5e campaigns that we know and love.
