Hello y'all, so let's get to the meat of the issue, shall we?

I went through the entire EA, from start to the boat in the Underdark having not used the tadpole powers a single time. Playing a goody-two-shoe as I always do, I justified it by .. well, mind flayers being evil and thus I should not stoop down to their level by using that damn parasite. I have noticed that a lot of pretty hard battles could've been made a lot easier if I had used it. But I enjoy the extra challenge. I did a pretty thorough play-through, did pretty much everything there is to do, all the quests that would make sense for my good aligned cleric. The only thing I didn't do is that damn jumping puzzle with the disappearing mushrooms on the wall in the Underdark. THAT ANNOYED ME so much I just couldn't, so possibly I skipped some secret things that were on top of that wall. But overall I made it a point to discover every corner of the map that I physically could.

But, I won't lie, I was quite curious just how much impact using the tadpoles had on the story and on our companions... and on my 2nd playthrough, still planning to be a goody-two-shoe, possibly coerced by the tadpole... I used it. And holy molly... I HATE IT. I felt so damn dirty AND GUILTY watching the entire team cough up blood and the rest of the pretty business... and those creepy dreams. If my companions weren't affected by it, fine, but my god.. just no. No. That feels so damn evil and dirty to me. Now I'm asking myself if I should continue or ...

Overall, big bravo to Larian for including that as an option, deffo a great thing to have for evil playthroughs. Come full release I know I WILL NEVER USE THAT DISGUSTING THING (when not playing evil anyway). Even if I get 5 dragons thrown at me all at once... No. It's just too heart breaking.

Well, so my main question is: what did you do? Did you use it? Have you felt dirty? Guilty? Or am I the only one who went through the entire EA having not used the parasite even once? I can't be the only one, can I? What do you guys think?

PS: Those dreams are both creepy and funny at the same time. Now funny because how glitchy they can get... I legit had the 'dream dude' of mine stuck inside my character so I couldn't even see his face.
