For how I see it, there are currently too problems with the camera.
One is that sometimes it's just "too zoomed in" to give you a proper view of the surroundings.
The other ties directly to the previous point and it's the fact that it "deforms" things too markedly according to how close/far from the camera they are. You can notice this easily when you have two creatures of the same kind (let's say two goblin) and one of the two can look up to four-five time bigger if it's closer to the camera.
An easy fix (and one I have absolutely zero confidence Larian would ever bother with) would be to make the perspective a bit more "orthogonal" (not sure if it's the exact term I'm looking for, but help me out, I'm struggling with a language barrier here) so that things simply have a far less pronounced deformation.
Incidentally, this small camera change would also tie wonderfully with better party controls, but hey, that's not meant to be a self serving proposition at all...
