I know how it sounds and my suggestion would raise some brows, but why not? It's the iconic symbol of D&D, and all the bard memes are infinite. But as you know, there's a grain of truth in every joke... And I bet the praise and fame towards Larian for this will be significant. The one game to end the meme and make it a reality. Also there should be a quest for getting a Potion of Giant Size to compensate on size differences for this particular romance.

Don't judge, because in the end everyone have their guilty pleasures... I am asking this because I know some people out there would like the idea but they won't have the strength to ask about this, so I did.

Also, I hope more races will be added eventually, and what I personally want is playable half-dragons (dragonborn too, but what I mean is half-dragons in particular, I don't care if they will have their rulebook stats or not, I'm here for the roleplay).

+1, it's not D&D if we can't romance a dragon.

Seriously though... some sort of romance (and overall interesting plot) with song dragon (in Baldur's Gate) might be interesting.
Red Dragons though... ehh, yeah, no.

The only Red Dragons we've seen shown so far are from a pact made by Gith with Tiamat; getting a handful of youngish ones to serve githyanki knights.

I think it'd be real weird for any of /those/ to end up romanceable.

Now a Gold Dragon incognito somewhere? Heyy crazy

Romancing a red dragon as it is weird.
Those are very very VERY inhuman.

If you piss one really bad, and he will decide that death wouldn't be enough punishment for you - he might decide to rape you. But that's pretty much the only sexual interaction you might get from red dragon.

Make it a Silver Dragon, they like to polymorph into humaniods and do stuff like that.

All true dragons polymorph into humans (with exception of white dragons, who don't really like to do that).
Very few though actually would be interested in humans (and other minor mortal races).
Even metallic dragons known to be somewhat arrogant, and hardly any dragon would see any non-dragon as equal.

Are you sure, just checked the books and Silver Dragons have a Change Shape section while Red Dragons do not:

Change Shape. The dragon magically polymorphs into a humanoid or beast that has a challenge rating no higher than its own, or back into its true form. It reverts to its true form if it dies. Any equipment it is wearing or carrying is absorbed or borne by the new form (the dragon's choice).

In a new form, the dragon retains its alignment, hit points, Hit Dice, ability to speak, proficiencies, Legendary Resistance, lair actions, and Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma scores, as well as this action. Its statistics and capabilities are otherwise replaced by those of the new form, except any class features or legendary actions of that form.

and later it talks about how they like being humaniod:

Friends of the Small Races. Silver dragons enjoy the company of other silver dragons. Their only true friendships outside their own kin arise in the company of humanoids, and many silver dragons spend as much time in humanoid form as they do in draconic form. A silver dragon adopts a benign humanoid persona such as a kindly old sage or a young wanderer, and it often has mortal companions with whom it develops strong friendships.
Silver dragons must step away from their humanoid lives on a regular basis, returning to their true forms to mate and rear offspring, or to tend to their hoards and personal affairs. Because many lose track of time while away, they sometimes return to find that their companions have grown old or died. Silver dragons often end up befriending several generations of humanoids within a single family as a result.

Yeah, a friendship. Or should i even say "friendship" wink
Song dragons would be most intresting even without any romance. Just discovering that certain Baldurian noble is in fact a song dragon. And options either getting very powerful friend (as long as you agree to keep their secret), or blackmailing one. Or even outright reveal their secret, and making a powerful enemy for yourself.
