Left the Under Dark to craft the "super weapon" and there was a note on this quest saying Glut would rejoin when I went back to the Under Dark. He is not in his original location or the location I travelled out from. Not sure if I am missing a way to re-add him as a companion.
EDIT: Found him just wandering around like a lost puppy pretty far from either spot. Easy to invite him back to join the party, once found.
