I DM for 5E for tabletop and through Roll20. I''ve been playing 5E for about 3 years now, and I personally love it. Sorcerers and Wizards are quite different actually, but I don't want to go into the differences between them since sorcerers aren't yet available in EA-and it's off topic. The Firebolt change was done by Larian. They modified it from the 5E version. This EA is only scratching the surface of 5E. there are races, spells, classes and subclasses not available yet--a plethora really. The cleric has 7 domain choices in the player's handbook and 5+ more in the other canon expansions, as well as numerous more UA and homebrew domain subclasses, for example.
My original question was about how different the release version might look compared to the present version, based on Larian's history. That's why I wish to compare the process to the EA for DOSII.
