I was thinking post-apocalyptic style, with a few large, protected cities dotting the world. All the ratiation has affected the outlying lands and developed mutants. Then there is the biggest mutant of them all: a plant that is growing everywhere under the surface of the Earth. You get to take sides. You can help the cities rid the world of the mutant creatures, restoring normality to people's lives and promoting the growth of civilisation again. Or you could help the mutants and allow this new life to grow and either mingle with or dominate the normal humans.

Technology plays a big with Cybernetic Implants, personal Power Plants, the ability to construct automatic mechs and pilotable tanks, weapon modification, explosives of varying sizes. Psionic abilities can be learned. And the Covert-Op (thief) can obtain as much experience as the others by using other methods.

I've come up with the following classes. Names are in progress and more accurately reflect their ending skills.

Matrix - extreme Offense and Defense
Big Guns - extreme Damage
Covert-Op - knowledge and bombs
Elementalist - psionic weapons and healing
Human Tank - extreme Resistance and area effect skills
Demon - The Hulk meets Magneto

Any thoughts?

It's not a 3D game. Similar view to Divine Divinity or Diablo, but you can rotate the camera so that you can see behind walls. Come to think of it, it's closest to Dungeon Siege which is 3D.

<opens mouth, swaps feet>

Either way, it's third person with the camera set so you can see all around you. I considered the Tomb Raider camera style, but it wouldn't suit a number of the skills or the atmosphere.

I never finished Command & Conquer: TIberian Sun so I never knew what happened with the Tiberium. I guess it could be a bit like that. I haven't had a chance to play Fallout either. (I know... Shock! Horror!)

It is definately a single-character RPG. The closest you get to companions are the ones you can build yourself. There may be a few NPCs who join you from time to time.

And don't neglect your dream. Put it forward so that they may grow together!

Yea! I played a Star Wars (star wars, rpgs, fantasy, , and stealing money from inoccent people are my hobbies) and in it, u could move the camera, and zoom in and stuff. To bad the game and graphics sucked!
