Only if the opposite is true as well, I should then be able to corrupt good aligned characters. There are too many rpg's with hero complexes already.
Oh yeah, absolutely I would want it to work both ways! We just have evil/neutral characters right now so it was easier to use examples going in that direction. I think it could work if characters could be pulled maybe one alignment step in either direction. So a virtuous character could never become evil and an evil character could never become fully good, but they could both be pulled more toward neutral in most situations. Or, your character could pass persuasion checks to at least make them understand your position better.
