I was chatting to her and thought I'd throw her a heal (since she was injured).
Then she attacked me.
This is probably because you are wearing the ring that pulls people towards you when you heal them.
The pulling is viewed as a push action and thus triggers combat to neutral NPCs.
Just take off that ring and heal again and no combat wil start.
