Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Suggestions & Feedback Broke the Halsin Questline...i think *SPOILERS*

As the Title. I think i actually broke Several Questlines regarding the Goblin Camp. Here is what i did:
-Killed all the Leaders
-Got beneath the Temple with the hidden Leaver and transitioned into the Underdark.
-Right after transition got level up
-Teleported to Camp and leveled all Companions
-Went to sleep and appeared in the Grove with Halsin there and thanking me

You killed all the leaders, do you mean you killed Halsin as well? Or only the goblin camp leaders?

I have not finished the Goblin Camp yet but on this playthrough, when I was freeing him, last standing mob one shot him so he is dead in my game atm. After the fight, I could not revive him. We'll see if he gets better.

I think that is supposed to happen as he is only guarded by a few goblins and wargs in the Warg Pens area - if you kill all the other leaders he probably just kills those and heads home

Okay, so something seems clearly bugged here. I spoke to Halsin and Zevlor in the Grove, advancing those Quests. I also explored the Grove a bit and first of, something seems to be bugged with the Beach Side quest. i could not speak to Dunin after saving the other boy. Then i did the following: went to camp, exchanged companions and tried to sleep. i woke up at the Selunite Outpost, which teleported me to the Grove in the first place ! i immediatly went back to camp and it started the celebration sequence back in the Grove. ( sry for bad english ) I am trying to trace back quite a bit to find a point where i broke that whole thing, since i have quite alot of saves.

No, only the Goblin Leaders. I didnt even find Halsin in the first place, not even in Bear form. I even spoke with the goddamn Spiders !

okay, im reporting as i play now.

Zevlors animation in the Sequence is bugged and Volos Celebration Song is aswell. That last one tries to fit all of the text on Screen at once. The sequence ended and im now in camp. lets see where it lands me when i go to sleep....

Okay, the Conversation with Halsin after the Celebration went without any error, but i woke up at the Selunite Outpost again, forcing me basically to that Route to Moonrise Towers, if i dont backtrack all the way through the Temple and Goblin Camp.

After a rest you will reappear where you began the rest. If you want to go elsewhere use the fast travel points on the right side of your map. Also you can't actually get to the Moonrise towers in early access so doesn't really matter.

I believe once you kill the goblin leaders and leave the area, the game assumes that Halsin takes advantage of the chaos and breaks himself out, as if you go to where his prison is at this point there are dead bodies all over the place.

I just went back to camp after saving in the Outpost, exchanged Companions again and am now back at the Grove after Sleeping. i think i see a pattern here...

oh wow...i really broke it now..one of the companions got stuck in the grove and the rest at the selunite outpost. i am now fast traveling via going to sleep with different characters It warps the entire group btw
