Can't this be fixed by picking different tones of colors for green and red? For example/simply put, make the red warm and the green cool. That's how traffic lights are designed in Germany to bypass the problem.
This way they don't have to pick entirely different colors so it's intuitive for everyone.


For certain people yes, there is also supposedly glasses that have been created to aid you in seeing the colors. Sadly from what I have heard it requires two working eyes. So though there are ways to bypass it, it may or may not work for everyone depending on the we'll call it 'level/degree' of color blindness.

Mostly I was just making a comment cause it dawned on me that there was no color blind setting. Probably an oversight, or as of yet unimplemented feature, and wanted to toss it out there, in my own way.
