Is there an available roadmap for the classes and archetypes that will be in the game upon retail launch?

For example, using the books I purchased on D&D Beyond, fighters have eight (8) archetypes:

1. Arcane Archer
2. Battlemaster
3. Cavalier
4. Champion
5. Eldritch Knight
6. Gunsliger
7. Purple Dragon Knight
8. Samurai

(there may be more, but this is the list I have access to).

Has Larian set expectations on exactly how nuanced the character races and classes will be?

If you mean a publicly available one, then no, there isn't one currently.

To be honest I'm not sure if at this point in time even Larian knows for sure what they are going to include by the end of development.

I'm pretty sure that they don't. Oh, I'm sure they have goals, and ideas... but plans don't usually survive contact with the enemy unscathed. In this case, the enemy is time and resources. They do not want to promise something and then walk it back later if something goes wrong.

That looks to be just the PHB subclasses,has Larian stated we are getting all the PHB subclasses?

Personally they need to nail the core down first. It's not like they can't keep adding subclasses after release as free DLCs. Heck, WoTC is adding 23 more this November. Let list the official ones (seeing 84): No way we are getting all of these, never saw them all listed out before.

Added an * for PHB one so I expect we'll only get those but that still 38 subclass, that a lot of work.

Because this is Forgotten Realms, I'd hope Purple Dragon Knight, Bladesinger, Way of the Long Death, Way of the Sun Soul, and Oath of the Crown would make it in from the Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide. But I'll honestly be happy with just all the PHB subclasses.
