I just want to know if it was Swen's idea to fill this game with lots of D:OS elements again like throwables, same surface system and exploding barrels since it's making the whole 5e ruleset implementation approach seem pointless to me when it can just play like Divinity and call it a day. There's no point in risking missing lots attacks or dice rolling at all if i can abuse surfaces and throwables all the time just like there's no point in healers if i can just use food or consumables or rest forever. I just want to know who thought it was a good idea to do things like this, thanks.
