Alt-Tabbing out of the game eventually leads my game to crash and leaves the desktop with just a black screen overlay, if I win+d I get to my normal background again.
My monitor is just the humble TV, when I check the display settings in windows after such a crash then it tells me I have twelve monitors
Restarting the pc is the only way to fix the issue once it occurs, to workaround it normally you need to use windowed mode instead.
