I'm great with these boxes to tick to get non-canon features for everyone in character creation, love that it even lets me make my moon elf a little bluer. And don't mistake my intent here- the tieflings we got are gorgeously done. And holy hell the work on those eyes. But I can't help but notice they... Don't look like any official art or descriptions of tieflings in 5E or even 4E. And we're not allowed to give them the canon features because they just aren't in the character creator as options at all.

Where are the solid colored eyes with no visible sclera or pupils, or just pinprick of light pupils on otherwise solid eyes? Where are the horns that match or near-match the color of their skin? Where are smooth horns? These tieflings are just literally the game's cambions with their wings cut off. Which looks fine but really creates a failure to distinguish them from the actual devils that only half their ancestry comes from. And I'unno, I just really like the official look of tieflings. Hell, I've got two in tabletop campaigns. And find myself... Disinterested in making one of these ones instead. I really like some of the NPC ones, though.

I'm quite happy they didn't go with the 5e "eyebrow horns", to be honest. I like this rendition of infernal tieflings, I just wish we had tieflings of non-infernal bloodlines. Abyssal, yugoloth, rakshasa, hag...

But certainly, more eye options (are vertical/goat pupils in the game?) would be great. And some horn colour options, like obsidian or bone.

The third piece of official art provided for reference, of Captain Xendros from 5E's rendition of Ghosts of Saltmarsh, does not have browhorns. But I'd like to see some browhorn options, too. My main thing right now though is not having all the horns look like they're carved out of volcanic rock and having some canon solid/near solid eyes available.

I'd also like a fro option that's longer than like someone's just shaved to go full natural a few months ago. But that's a big ask in any game it seems, and only tiefling-specific in the greediest of ways. (My tiefling lightning sorceress from one campaign has a pretty damn full one.) BG3 does already have some other curly hair options though and that in itself is just so refreshing.

Not that I'm against it, but I think curly hair is much harder to pull off. I don't know how well a big afro would look in the game. Hair in general is still a problem in video games, even if BG3 has it nicely done, it's still way behind faces and clothes in visual fidelity.
