Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - General Ranged attacks: physical/magical-what affects hit?

so I know that ranged dps from physical sources is DEX if bows.


But other classes like warlocks and clerics have SPELLS that say range attack IE Eldritch Blast and the cleric.. something Bolt spell. Are these DEX based for to hit purposes too?

Anyone have the correct answer? Everything im reading leads me to believe that CHA/WIS have nothing to do with to hit rolls, but rather saves?
