Hello all,

Been enjoying the game so far, but I'm having a big issue with the game right now in the burning tavern.

I figured that, considering it was a burning building, and there were a lot of precise measurements, I would enter turn-based mode when I first entered the building. So far so good. I sent Wyll over to rescue Benryn, and the rest of the party headed over to the door to Counsellor Florrick.

Getting Wyll to save Benryn was a pain. Not only was it a difficult roll, but for some reason as soon as the conversation was over, the game decided to exit turn-based mode, and the fire spreads so goddamned quickly that both of them get burned up. I did manage to restart turn based mode and get them both to jump out of the window to the safer halway...although Wyll is still on fire for the moment.

That leaves the door to Florrick to knock down. I have it down to two points. No problem, I'll deal with it next turn. Only I can't get to next turn. I can't advance turns at all any longer. Nor can I exit the turn-based mode no matter how much I click or press shift+space. It just does nothing.

Note that the game is not frozen. I can still go in and do inventory management. When I reload the save, I still have some extra actions my whole team can do, including eating food, casting a few spells, etc. It's just that it's basically stuck in "waiting for turn" mode forever, which I can neither exit nor adance.

Anyway, has someone had a similar issue?

I just ran into the same bug. I think what happens is when Benryn gets out of the building he "leaves the party" and turn based is sitting around waiting for him to end his turn.

Yes, it happened to me just as Rylee stated - if I let Benryn out of the building while still in turn based mode. Basically I had to keep him by the knocked down door (which I had doused with water so it wouldn't catch fire and burn him alive) while I did everything else I needed to do and was also close to getting out with my other characters. Then I would go back to real time and exit the building.
