It's especially stupid because of how bonkers wonky the underlying grid square system is in the game. If you use an AoE spell/effect you can see just how badly it is designed. this results in sometimes taking Opp Attacks when you are just trying to circle around a creature, which on a 5ft grid square should never happen.
