It would be easier if they just allowed you to cast light on a char's full body, given all the liberties they took with a lot of 5e spells and mechanics but i guess they didn't really want you to play as a *Boring/Plain* Human lol.
Well they messed up then, because whenever it swaps over the Gale's turn while I'm fighting in a dark area it makes me wanna scrap my Drow and try a Human character even more lol. So many RPG's have you seeing perfectly fine in these dark, dank ruins when you shouldn't be able to see much at all, and playing as a Drow or any other character with darksight just kind of has that same feel. But then it swaps over to Gale, and suddenly the lights go out and it feels
immersive and I freaking love it.
