In DnD 5e, preparing your spells is done after a Long Rest.

I would like to see something similar in BG3 (link this with my suggestions about making resting not as "free".

Of course now I can jump to camp at any time and take a long rest, but ideally if resting wasn't as easy to do, then picking spells would also be more of a choice.
As it stands now it only matters when you are in combat, and if you encounter something where you want a specific spell you just change it at will.

If resting was more of a choice to do, then spell preparation would matter more too.

Just a thought. Minor issue really.

I think it will probably be a toggle in the difficulty of the game. The tactical mode should include this.

Id like to hear their plan at least. Right now, Im doing Game Testing, im not playing the game. I camp enough as it is and when im screwing around trying to figure some weird thing out I dont want to have to keep doing laps

What is the problem you are solving? Does your proposed change solve the problem? Is your change feasible? What else will be affected by your change? Will your change impact revenue? Does your change align with the goals and strategies of the organizations (Larian, WotC)?
