I feel like camping in this game needs a lot of revision. There are plenty of people who like it, and those who have many, many complaints about it. My biggest issue is that it feels too much like Dragon Age: Origins, where everyone returns to the same campsite every night you do party interactions and relations there, and you can even do romantic dialogue while at the camp while additionally getting a dog to keep you company. Not to mention keeping a box of infinite storage for things you may never use. Whenever I'm at the campsite, I feel like I'm playing a different game that I've already played before. I hope I'm not the only one having deja vu.
