Honestly I had trouble figuring her out too.
On one hand she seems to value trust and loyalty. Me not selling out Astarion got her to flirt with me.
On the other hand trying to help the tieflings and doing the morally right thing is something she disapproves us.
So I guess as long as I am loyal to her and don't betray the trust of my friends she doesn't care what happens to others?
I think the feeling they're going for with her is that she's selfish, or maybe just goal oriented. Her goal at the moment is to get the tadpole out of her head, everything else is of no consequence unless it directly helps her in that goal and helping the tieflings doesn't do that. Now, unless they change it to her giving a positive or even neutral response to helping them once you get the tadpole out, then I think it's more likely that she only cares to help those around her that have helped or tried to help her.
