No, I just re-did the final fight without any weapons or equipment. Given the number of potions I has stockpiled, and the number of charms I had to trade for more if nessisary, that would probably be do-able, though. No weapon just makes fights really long and tedious. I started another game (but have not played in awhile) on hard with a female survivor; I wasn't going to use any swords or shields and might have eliminated more equipment if it started to become easy.
