I have been posting on Stadia's forum, my "don't click on the clam" issue, but then - per everyone's feedback and my own testing - it appears the game is not playable after escaping the ship. Obviously, this is a rather big deal. I have wondered around the post escape area, too - and its a ghost town. Nothing works. Apparently, a cutscene is not triggering. Not only that, but all fight progress is lost, so a rather long fight is lost because there is no way to save it.

Would love any updates on this getting a hotfix? I get this is very early, and I even enjoy posting bug reports and such, but I can't do that if I can't play the game. hehe

I had this this first time I played, went back and did it again and it was fine.

There is some theory that it is more likely to happen if you don't let the scene where the ship crashes play out all the way by itself without interruption.

Ive played with 4-5 different toons, always let the full video play out, and the cutscene never triggers. Are you on Stadia @postwave ?

I'm on Stadia, had the same issue where it skipped the exit naut ship cutscene, then clicking the clam seems to make the game unresponsive beyond wandering around.

To fix, I started again from before the battle to exit the ship. Rather than fight it out, I rushed the ship controls, activated, and it triggered the exit cutscenes. I've been happily playing for many hours since.

I've encountered a few other game breaking bugs but there's always been a way forward. Careful with your save games. Good luck.
