It is highly specific to a culture. In some cultures it is completely normal for people to walk around naked most of the time. By the age of 10 many children on this little globe of ours already have practical experience in skinning animals.
I guess there is no universal truth defining what is and what is not suitable for children.

I sometimes use thought experiments. I don't necessarily believe in every idea I post for discussion on this forum
