Oldschool gamer here. I have very fond memories of Pools of Radiance, Curse of Azure Bonds et al. Don't forget Eyes of the Beholder series!!
I used to really enjoy DDO, but quit, actually fairly recently all things considered, due to design changes. I am also really enjoying BG3. They are both very different games, and each enjoyable in their own way.
I would love a new DDO, although I suspect any attempt to do so would result in a more modern design version heavily leaning toward the changes that caused me to drift away from the game. I am looking forward to seeing BG3 develop.
