Maybe the Absolute and the Adversary are one and the same person?


If so, it would be more fitting to call her the Upgrade, since the Absolute doesn't seem to differ that much from normal illithids in her goals and methods. She simply has more advanced tools at her disposal.


The promise of being led to death is reason enough to follow.
