So, the game tells us we were abducted in Baldur's Gate. The problem is that in the intro, the Illithid ship teleports to Baldur's Gate only after we had a tadpole forced into our skull and, judging by the scene, it seems like that was the first time the illithid came to the city.
Am I missing something? Was the city in the intro not Baldur's Gate?
That was indeed a different city, although close to Baldurs Gate if I remember right (someone analyzed the trailer when it came out). Not that physical distance matters much to a plane hopping ship.
I wonder how the ship was even able to abduct people from Baldurs Gate as this city is far from defenseless.
