Sometimes, the companions succeed their perception checks and say: "That might be worth a look". But we just don't know what they are talking about and there is nothing around us implying something was discovered. Would be nice if what they see could be highlighted. It just happened to me in the Selune temple puzzle. And I just have no idea what it is they have discovered.
