So I ended up finding the little pressure pads that just need something on them to turn the poison off. I guess they could be just vents like RobertTheBard mentioned.
I just used the gear I had in my inventory and threw them on the pads. Someone in Steam beat you guys to it, but I do appreciate the feedback
