Why buy on GOG if you don't like to use Galaxy Client?
I buy on GOG for the sole reason of getting standalone installers and knowing exactly where the game files reside on my computer. I also control what patches are installed and when. Not in a "STEAM" library/folder and not in a "GALAXY" library/folder. In fact, I don't understand why would you buy a game on GOG if you use Galaxy - becomes same as Steam functionally unless you worry about DRM.
