I would love some aurora engine like creation tools. Considering NWN1 still has fan content being made for it 18 years on, would be nice if we could have a new DnD game in a modern engine that would allow for fan creations with a module type system.
Biggest problem I would say isn't Larian deciding to do it, but probably WotC (Hasbro) agreeing to tools that would allow fans to create free content. But then again NWN had premium paid modules, so it could work out well for them.
