Don't feel uneasy, I am happy for you to call me out by name. I suggest next time you choose how you phrase things more accurately and not describe them as "not mattering" or being detrimental to the discussion and "exchange" of ideas if you do not want to be misinterpreted and come off as condescending and attempting to advocate censorship. Best of luck.

If the point is to have a more systematic approach to collate feedback, bugs, balance etc that sound great.
e.g graphical feedback goes in one place, race issues, class issues, quest issues as much as possible can be catalogued better.
Plus if you find a bug, check and find it has already been logged you can just +1 then move on.

I think these forums need to be more secure, they emailed me my password, not even any encryption on it at all XD. Plus it would be nice to set an icon that is not trash resolution, I can't use my art for my icons because the icon size is too damn small.

Passwords aren't stored as plaintext, at least (and don't use something ineffective like DES either) but I admit that sending them via SMTP is not ideal. It isn't configurable, frustratingly. However, changing one's password after registration doesn't send a plaintext copy anywhere.

120×120px is a fairly normal size for forum icons; any larger than that would cause problems with the formatting.

I'm talking about the size of it, not the display size. You can't have high quality images on icons on these forums, I mean.

Any possibility of being able to upload an avatar?

If you put it on imgur or something you can just link to it

you mean stretching them out? Resolution is PPI. The only way to have higher rez is to increase pixels or reduce image size haha

I know, but I work in cyber security and do not use any site that asks me for geolocational data on principle.

I'm not sure I understand: there's no limit on the file size of offsite avatars (at least not that I've tested, but have seen examples that are quite large) and while uploaded avatars are limited to 97K, uploading isn't enabled. The actual forum icons such as smileys etc look a bit dated in some cases but that doesn't seem to be what you're getting at.

Probably not; it'd just end up being another thing that needs managing, and external image hosting seems to have been the norm for some time now.

I did that briefly in the '90s. It wasn't my favourite job; though that may have been less about security and more about it being a bank. :|

I don't think it's much different than from other employers although my specific field is more involved and in depth the leaps and bounds in the field has been very stressful.
