I have played two characters to max XP, and am working on a third class now. These are my observations so far.

1. There needs to be a button for Group and Ungroup All. It is tedious to have to manually click everyone in and out of the group. Sure, everyone stays put if you are sneaking but, make one mistake and stand up and they come running.
2. UI keeps resetting where I put things, auto placing, locking and unlocking. I had to turn off all of the auto-add options. The lock button on the far right unlocks itself, I think every scene change. And it is too easy to accidentally push drag a spell or such off of the tool bar.
3. I would like to see the option to have several transparent toolbars. If, I had my wish, I could have one for each spell level, one for scrolls and potions and one for other gear. Flipping up and down the toolbars is irksome. I would much rather just have a section of the screen that I can drag and around spell bars to for each spell level group.
4. Camera angles during some cinematics are off, sometimes lookup up from floor, sometimes with no view of the characters at all.
5. Characters should not run around and change their positions just because I select a different party member. If I click on any character or select F1-F4, the characters should not all hop around and reposition
6. The “attack other character” option should come with an “Are you sure?” prompt. Too easy to accidentally click.
7. I have had a few times where target number is met and the result is still a fail.
8. When over-encumbered I can still jump to move around. If I cannot move, I should be able to move.
9. If I offer Gale an artifact that is he is holding, maybe others (not sure), he accepts it and absorbs it but it does not go away.
10. Druids. There is a druid grove but, you cannot play one. This would be an obvious class addition.
11. Thieves Tools should not work for every character. But, I can literally open just about anything without my rogue in the group, if my Dex is high enough, even more if I chose a background that gives me proficiency with Sleight of Hand. If the player wants to Rogue-around, they need to bring the rogue or, be one.
12. My friends and I tried the multi-player once. He works a lot though. From what I see, if you want to start the game together, you each have to make the characters right then and there. I do not see a way to load a previously created character, one I made just for multi-play. When I create a multi-player game, I only see the option to create a new character. My friend was able to join a game I had going, that was not created as multi-player but was only able to join in as one of the story characters already in my party. Being able to pre-create characters would be a huge benefit. That way, when we have the precious time to play, we can just sit down and start.
13. I saw a complaint about having the mummy (does not look like a skeleton to me) in came for raising the dead. If I had to guess, this was for the pre-release. I would expect this to not be part of the game. If it it is, it takes away the "fear" of death. By not having him, it makes the revivify scrolls even more valuable. ( I just had a thought. I wonder if anyone has tried to Revivify an NPC that died during a battle. It would make sense that you could. You should be able to. Like the druid halfling that you save from the goblins in the cave. First time, I found him, the goblins turned on him fast and turned him to a half-sized roast.)

My thanks

#10 - This is only Early Access. We know that they will be adding more races and classes. I think the plan is all PHB classes, so yes, we should eventually be able to play as a Druid.

#11, this is actually per D&D 5e. You do not need to have a Rogue to pick locks or disarm traps. But... at higher levels, they have have a much better chance of success. I haven't seen it implemented here, but Rogues are supposed to get "Expertise", whereby they pick a couple skills and get double the proficiency bonus (which increases as you level).
So, Joe Fighter can pick up Thieves Tools and use them without proficiency, but that means he only gets his DEX bonus/penalty.
Tara the Thief on the other hand has proficiency with Thieves Tools and also choose Expertise with Thieves Tools. So she would get DEX + (2 * Proficiency Bonus). At first through 4th that would be an extra +4. By the time Tara and Joe are both level 10, that would be an extra +8.
So, the fixes that are needed here, are for Larian to implement Expertise (assuming they have taken everything else into account correctly) and to actually have separate proficiencies for Sleight of Hand vs. Thieves Tools. In the rules, they are separate things, but it appears that Larian has gone the route of "you need to have a consumable Thieves Tool to attempt to use the skill, but for rolling purpose we use Sleight of Hand".
However, it is entirely possible to play as a Ranger and not have a Rogue in your party at all.

Otherwise, I agree with most of the comments... I've certainly noticed #4 often enough. And yes, #5 is annoying. Related to that is if you use Jump to cross a gap, it would be nice if your party members where smart enough to also jump across and not make me select each one to jump them, only to find that there's no room for a landing because the ones already across have crowded the edge!

So, another comment or two.

I love that there are many different ways to enter into many if not all of the "dungeons". Four ways into the cliff-side ruins and the druid's grove. I love that I keep finding more secret or obscure ways around the map and little tidbits hidden in corners that I never looked.

And, for someone who has played more pen and paper rogues than anything else, kudos for making pickpocketing worthwhile. And yeah, I did pick-pocket the Do'Urden in the first game. His two +5 blades were quite the steal.

Cheers
