This is where a more classic inventory system should be introduced, instead of this nonsense of unlimited capacity on your person and carry weight.
You can carry exactly 2x your "carry weight" before you are encumbered.
That should be reduced. so it limits the myriad complaints about barrelmancy (which honestly if you plan to spend that much time moving them around, you should be able to do it wit the finite amount of barrels there are) This would force someone to go back and forth from camp and still allows for its use as well keeping enough space for selling crud.
Lets not use RE2 slot placements as an example. Really dont want to play TETRIS.
Also needed is the fix to all storage boxes. Not only do they lack filtering, but if you pick something out of it while scrolling down, the window resets at the top of the box causing you to scroll down again, and again if you have items you need on the bottom of the list.
Remove the 'send to camp' feature, replace with a 'bag of holding' feature introduced later on in the game. Although I would not mind just removing the 'send to camp' feature and not bother with 'bag of holding' because it is stupid
Considering how crafting has not been fully implemented without a reasonable replacement, no. So you are going to hold magic items for gale all day along with any weapons you find and armor since quest rewards are not like 5e where you get a decent amount of gold and have to rely on selling your crap?
yeah some sort of storage is needed to offset all of that, what if someone decides to go with a low str party? They absolutely should be able to EARN a bag of holding. (which cant hold a tons of those barrels)
The whole idea of a limited inventory is not even how you play 5e.
"Carrying Capacity. Your carrying Capacity is your Strength score multiplied by 15. This is the weight (in pounds) that you can carry, which is high enough that most characters don’t usually have to worry about it." straight from 5e.
Currently BG3 shows 10 per score (even through its really 20 per score. If it was 15 per score as in 5e, it would be fine.
Regardless of what wording Spiff uses for views, he is still pointing out issues in EA.
I've pointed at the AI several times on this forum and in the feedback I've sent to Larian directly.
It makes no sense that the AI does not react to their surroundings being packed with explosives, being pelted with missiles or watching their friends die around them.
Yes the AI should at least try to find you when you stealth, go to your last position etc.
If they are unable to reach you and cant do anything then sure stand there and maybe go for cover...or of you are like me, break the ladders that have 4 health....4 health.
