That's a pretty cool and effective combo, but that's a very specific build to ensure that you can keep up concentration in a situation that could turn very bad if you lost it. You have to invest that hard into it or you end up being a wizard sitting in the middle of a group of enemies.

I agree that you should have to invest in conc. if want to be able to pull stuff like that off.

All I'm trying to say is this. With the extra number of conc. saves you make in BG3 compared to 5e, due to the increased number of sources of small damage that can't be dodged, your ability to hold concentration is nerfed. Can we agree on that?

If so, why wouldn't you want Larian to do something that could balance out the concentration system to average the same amount of uptime as before?
