the changes to hiding compared to 5e baffle me a bit to be honest
hiding is the ultimate defensive move even in 5e it's really strong on rogues
in bg3 you can actually hide in plain sight as a bonus action and if you are unseen, behind cover, fully obscured, or outside of the tiny vision cones you don't even have to roll for stealth
in 5e you have to be unseen, behind total cover, or fully obscured just to attempt hiding as an action. and it's still used all the time!
regarding eldritch blast:
attack cantrips are just too strong right now because ac is low and hp is high.
also the knockback value was increased from 10ft to 15ft
