There are going to be some spoilers here, if you have not yet played through the entire EA, and have not watched any of the dozens of YouTube walkthroughs, be warned.
So we see in the game, that once a host dies, the creepy crawly creeps its way out of the eye and tries to make a run for it.
Also, the protagonist may die for story reasons several times in the game (Astarion's midnight snack, the look this at the crash site etc.) Some of the companions die as well (Gale leaves detailed instructions to his resurrection, assuming he is even infected, which I am not certain of). And yet we and our companions can be restored to life (we are even supplied with a scroll for that purpose.
So my question is this: why doesn't the tadpole crawl out of our skull once we are dead? Is that ever explained? I mean, I understand why that would not be a good solution for the game, as out would make most of the plot redundant, but why shouldn't it work?
