What's really sad is that its becoming apparant that companies are making MMORPGs to become cash cows for further projects. There's a good article on Diabloii.net about the cost of playing these games and how game makers are chomping at the bit to get into the lucrative field of MMORPGs.

I really hate those damn things...nothing but a money and time sink. I've attempted to play EQ about 3 times, and everytime I come away a few months later wondering how in the world people can stand that game!!! You can't even pee in that game without 20 people helping you.
