Gloves of Power - did you even read the item description? They are what experienced players would call 'cursed', and sometimes the 'curse' can be lifted
I didn't see these as cursed. Cursed implies, to me, that you can't remove or get rid of them, and I was able to. The gloves work correctly if you place them on a "True Soul" character (I put them on my own character and didn't get the "Bane" effect)
I actually prefer it that way as if it simply said 'cursed' then no one would ever use them and find out the hard way.
Nah. From a DM point of view, you want to give fair enough warning, but you leave it to the PC to figure out for themselves. These items warned you in their description, so that should be enough. Plus, if the items are truly cursed, you couldn't remove them at will, which I didn't have an issue with. I haven't come across "Remove Curse" yet, so I suspect that these items aren't really cursed insomuch as they are designed for certain wearers.
