Is the starting location of the character safe for dropping extra item (until i can get a better place). There are items i have that i want to keep for future and they are too heavy to lug around.

I also dropped one of the teleportation stones there.

I think you can drop items anywhere. I put all my items in the stack in the house near the graveyard in Aleroth.

are u talking about Jorams celler? If so, yes; I have about 10 chests there with alot of stuff, and I could choose from 20 other places if I wanted to; but it is safe in Jorams house; or any house in Aleroth after the healers leave.

and it's never been stolen......... but,.. actually i'm not sure...
because there is so much stuff........

That's the same place I kept my stuff. I waited until Geoff replenished his stock (of gold) and picked up as much as I could carry to sell to him.

Also, get Geoff to repair and identify some of your items. He appreciates the business and his opinion of you becomes very Admiring, giving you much better prices.

how often does Geoff replentish his gold? Thats one of my 2 places for gold. I also pickpocket the rivertown armory guy of his 25k. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/badsmile2.gif" alt="" />
