I can now provide a little update. Attention, spoilers again!

I played to the point, where I (kind of) assassinated the three goblin leaders to make Halsin return to the grove.

  • About Kagha: I was not able to bring up her connection to the Shadow Druids at all. I couldn't tell Rath, I couldn't tell Halsin and I couldn't even rub it to her face. Unfortunately I currently have no way of knowing, whether this is because I don't have the quest item from the tree in the swamp (see OP), because I missed my opportunity to do so, or because it's not in the game yet. I was able to bring up the fact, that her snake killed the child.
  • Taking on the whole goblin camp: I was able to kill both Gutt and Minthara without alarming the whole camp. In Minthara's case I had to keep the goblins near her from getting to the war drum, which I could easily achieve by destroying it. Dror Ragzlin was a different matter. I specifically sought and destroyed all the drums I could find, without being noticed, including the two in the throne room. When the fight started, some goblins did run to one of the destroyed drums, but shouldn't have been able to sound it. After the fight the whole camp was hostile. Not sure if this is intended, but since I was able to secretly assassinate the other two, I thought it might be possible for all three.
  • Feature request: Could we please get key binds to change the elevation of the camera? There are situations, when you want to target ground on a higher level and that is a pain right now. Example: In the assassination attempt on Ragzlin I started the fight on the wooden beams above, comfortably shooting at everyone below. Wyll got knocked down, which is why I had Misty Step prepared as a precaution. Unfortunately the camera would hide everything above as soon as I selected Wyll, so while the spell did have enough range to get there, I simply couldn't target the "ground" up by the beams.
  • Possible bug: Having taken Wyll along, I naturally retrieved his missing eye. I was unable to "officially" hand it over though. That is: I could send it to his inventory and place it on the quick bar, but there was no dialogue available to tell him. He did say, he wanted it back before but story wise he's unaware of having it back. Again I don't know if I simply missed something.
  • Feature request: AC instead of hit percentage. This has been brought up by others already. The hit percentage seems unreliable and I have come to distrust it. Could we get an option to change this, so that the target's Armor Class and the attackers boni/malus to the intended attack are displayed instead? Four consecutive misses on a 75% success chance are frustrating, but seeing that the target's AC is 8 and I have +3 on my attack roll is easy to understand and plausible.
  • In the basement of the pharmacy(?) for what ever reason the Necromancy of Thay had fallen of the pedestal (or not spawned there in the first place), long before I even got there. This caused the statues to constantly shoot fireballs at each other. Since the book starts a dialogue when trying to pick it up, which also ends turn based mode, getting it was troublesome. The constant screen shaking also caused all sorts of problems, like graphical clipping in confined spaces and difficulty when trying to pick up or use small objects.
