Haven't seen any cape or cloak yet. Except you know, the robes of the illithid. Anyone has?

Not yet, but I'd be amazed if they weren't going to be featured.

Haven't found any belts yet either.

Weapons are mostly in , but these I do miss.

I haven't. Only shoes, a glove that is bad to use and headgear.

We are still in the starting area, we can't expect to get cool looking gear at level 1 . Looking cool comes with max level .

There is one cape model, but it is not incorporated into the game yet. you can get to cloack, but the model is super buggy and the item has no stats.

It would be odd if they had a slot for capes if they didn't intend to add them.

Not necessarily, they could have been like rings, give you stats but don't actually appearing in the game. That's how it was on OG BG. But I'm glad it's not

Ofc they will be featured - there is a slot for one.

Cape/cloak slot is usually one of the last slots to be filled in my experience. Certainly not by lvl 4.

NWN didn't show them either in the beginning. Then I had to take mine off because my Dragon disciple's wings >>>> any cloak in the game.

I want cloaks that cover shoulders, not superman capes.

Honestly im more interested in if they have to be visible ... and not just capes, but helmets too (at last in converstations).
Personaly i hate 99% of capes in all games i ever played. :-/
And for helmet ... i dont like even a bit that i spend two hours in character creation, just to see his eyes trough visor.

On the other hand i would really hate to loose some sweet bonuses just to look better.

No hoods, however, tragically. My Jedi look is ruined.

You can get a cloak but one of them crashes the game when a cutscene happens. Not implemented yet

But what about muh practicality and realism in my super realistic gritty game!?
The cloak would get pulled or get stuck in something and trip your character and it'd cause a new big bang before straining your ankle.

Immersion BROKEN!

That dwarf druid (Nali? Nati? something like that) seem to have cape. O_o
Either that, or that armor they are wearing is trully unique.
