I posted about this on the General forum and one of the people that responded said it (Devil's Sight) does effect combat rolls so it's just a graphical bug.
That "graphical bug" is still a problem though. I killed Astarion, so I was having Wyll doing the sneaking around in the Well. But I couldn't see very much. I hope they fix this soon.
