I just kind of want a more organic way to have us meet the cult. I wonder if we could be able to take the cult over, and keep Minthara for ourselves, of course.

I think it's not "drow" enough, sure it could work in a outlander origin, but not really for a member o Lolth society, where hairstyle is an indicator of rank and position.
Though whether or not she's still a member of that society with the Absolute nonsense is probably open for debate.

Maybe its a placeholder? Or shes part of a different cult now and she doesent care to keep it in a certain manner anymore

Doesent give me 'evil drow' vibes though...

We don't know where she stands actually. Cause when you enter the goblin camp as a drow, one of the guards says something like "You are one of the moonrise folks, aren't you?". So they are not Lolth sworns, which is usually the cult associated to evil drow. They use goblins as pawns to get what they want. But we don't really know how evil they are so far in the story.

Thats a fair point, but that said they are part of a cult that want to wipe out the local druids for the lulz. So my guess is they arent going to be good.

Well, if you follow the druid storyline, especially Khaga's, you can see the druids are not particularly good either. Some could argue Khaga is evil.

Anyway, I think Minthara is an interesting character. I hope she gets more lines in the final release.

I hope that in the final release she will be as a companion, plus in one of the netural/evil endings I will become her consort in Menzoberranzan without the poisoning drama like Viconia

Shes a shadow druid. So yea shes evil. The rest arent evil though. Druids beeing impartial or uncaring for things is a big part of their neutrality at play. Although I must admit that some dident see any problems in killing off all the thieflings which is abit...off.
