Maybe not very clear from what I wrote there, but I wish we had the option to set these keys (and functions to exist to do that of course):

a.) Switch to first character = F1; these already exists, same for the others, F2 to second, F3 to third, F4 to fourth. These are 4 keys.
What is wrong with these is that if I unchain a single character, that becomes 4th and so I need to use another key to select it every time. Many times I move the wrong character to wrong spot, because I expect F1 to be my main character, F2 the tank F3 the wizard, F4 the healer.
Doesn't matter in which order we like them, but would be very helpful if they keys were fixed. Same party order in: inventory UI, gear UI and everything. They don't need to move around.

b.) keys and functions which doesn't exist currently (except some in right click menu): unlink all and link all.

These would help immensely, allowing to focus on playing the game and not the party managing mini game. Every time could press 2 buttons, without even looking there, and give a command to that character. A huge quality of life improvement suddenly. And this is the easy part to implement, since all these can be done by other means already.

What would be more work is creating party formations and rules for those formations: line formation, triangle, stand in place, follow, and so on. But I wouldn't mind if I will have to just move them one by one, that's the most useful way anyway.

Yeah, I agree about hotkeying the chaining/unchaining. The problem with fixed buttons, however, is that we will unchain, and it moves them out of the party, F4 if just one, and it counts backwards from there. I think that's ok. Just like any new game, it's going to be a matter of training muscle memory to get it right every time, or most of the time. I know that, muscle memory or not, I still "typo" skill usage in other games, and even when typing messages on forums... But that functionality is fine, and will be improved if we get hotkeys, or the ability to assign our own, to that function.
