Nope.
It's genuinely the worst thing about the game currently, by a wide margin.
I've hated this system since it was introduced in DOS 1 and it gets only worse the more I grow used to it and I learn about new scenarios where it becomes just annoyance.



If it's the same since dos1 it's probably not the worst thing in the game
