I understand that an item description has a value and that the NPC I am trading with will price the item differently based on my CHR. But how the hell is it that after casting Friendly on the merchant and having CHR16 an 600gold valued item is priced at 1350?!!! That's an insane markup. So I am asking if I'm looking at this wrong or is it a glitch or what.
Yeah, the markups are crazy. For balance reasons, I'm sure.
The only ways I know of to improve trades are with Cha, improving their attitude towards you, and just giving a vendor items for free, so that you get better deals on subsequent trades.
