I bought 5 arrows. Three acid arrows and two flame arrows. I don't remember how much they cost but I haven't had any problem making money.. You don't need to buy them but they can be useful in certain situations like if you run across some trolls. (Not that I've run across any trolls yet) Probably would feel more worth it if my rogue wasn't also able to cast spells from scrolls without any failure.
